Women in Development Summit is the first of its kind in Nigeria. Holding the Second Edition on Thursday 28th March 2019 at LCCI Conference and Exhibition Center, 1, Idowu Taylor, Victoria Island, Lagos; this Summit, hosted by Ideation Hub Africa, is a rallying point for female entrepreneurs who are passionate about social good and global development across the African continent. This thought-leadership Conference and Networking Event draws together the energetic ecosystem of women in Businesses, NGOs, International Development Organizations, Foundations, Social Enterprises, Tech Start Ups, Civil Societies and the Government.
We raise global issues in development, and the unique roles of women in envisioning and enabling prosperity for the African continent. We also explore the next big ideas and defining insights for women on leading change, building a sustainable social profit business, accessing opportunities and scaling impact.
The one-day event will feature Keynote Speeches, Panel Sessions, Mentorship Roundtable and Open Conversations as well as Networking. The Summit, which is the first-of-its-kind, provides a great opportunity for women to understand the dynamics of the ecosystem, connect for collaboration and gain expert advice using business to drive social change and nation building .
Across job roles from Executive Leadership to Programs to Administration to Fundraising or Consultants; the conversations at the Summit will help women do more inspiring work, move up with their careers, and leverage knowledge to perform better in their job roles. The Mentorship Roundtable also offers hand-holding and value exchange by industry thought-leaders.
